Usually success people are rich. We are hard to find a success person that are not rich. So rich is closely related with success. Success mean earn lots of money per month? Do you think that rich is main criteria for success? I can't deny this statement is false.

it depends on the goal of the person..if that person's goal is to be rich then he/she can say that he/she is successful if he/she is rich.. ..but there are other people, say that they are successful even though they're not rich..it can be love, career, or spiritual success, etc.

I could always use a lot of money and yes, it can be a good guidepost in how successful you can be. It is puny to think of success without money. Cheers!!

Success has many faces and the utmost achievement is happiness and satisfaction in life....Mostly, people success is in material or wealth possessions is the most greatest known ever, and yet, and but, nevertheless they are still not happy or satisfied they want more, they still searching the ultimate success they ever wanted for. Other people they don't have these material or wealth possession all they have is completely happiness and satisfaction is the only they can have.

You can be successful and not have a lot of money. You have plenty people who are successful but aren't rich by some standards. I believe if you raise children who do great things you are successful. I don't believe Stanley Ann Dunham wasn't rich in any way shape or form. I believe, she was successful because she gave birth, nurtured and two great children, one who is now President Elect Obama. that to me is success. If you can raise something well, you are a success. If you can, leave something, that is success. If you can do something that will help this world to be a much better world, then you are successful. Ghandhi, Martin Luther King weren't successful money wise, but they did some wonderful things. Princess Diana had riches at her disposal, yet she did her best to alleve the suffering of others; She lost her life sadly in the end. but to answer the question, NO it isn't a criteria.

One's success is not determined by how rich they are, but rather how capable they are and the amount of true frenz they have.. A successful person is someone who's able to have all 3 criterias.. Imagine one is very rich, but not capable and had nobody to share his happiness with, u do think they are successful?? I dun think so.. Because if one day they were to loss all their richness, they will loss everything as well, with no true frenz to lend their support as well.. Thus, success is not just on the good times itself, but also duribng the bad times ^_^

hi! i believe the main criteria for success is being happy. having money does not necessary mean that one is successful and one is happy. there are people who have everything but they cant see their selves as happy and successful. measurement of happiness is finding out the level of satisfaction in life. be happy and thank you for a nice discussion.

Becoming rich might also be an indication of being succesful. But not all rich people are successful. I mean there are some that were already born with silver spoon. So the person might have started fom the top. Unlike people who are rags from riches , they have could have proved themselves that they became successful because of their hardwork.
