I witnessed something that disturbed me yesterday that I just need to get off my chest. I had just got done shopping at Walmart and was about to pull out of the parking lot when i saw a man with a cart full of stuff come frantically running out. A woman pulled up in a truck and he started to toss everything in the back. seconds after he ran out a little old woman who worked at walmart came running out behind him. It turned out he was shop lifting. What disturbed me the most was as he was jummping in the front of the truck the little lady was trying to crab the stolen goods out of the back. The woman driving the truck hit the gas real quick and almost ran over the little lady. She was okay and I was able to get the license plate number of the truck but, as far as I know they got away. I know Christmas time sometimes causes people to do crazy things but, that little woman could have been seriously injured. How could anyone think a couple material things could be worth more then a life. I just don't understand it so, whats your input on the whole thing?

That is terrible. Some people have no morals. It is one thing to shop lift but to risk another persons life in the process is severely wrong. I wonder what those people were thinking. I am sure that justice will be served in one way or another.

My take is that the little old lady missed the part of training that teaches you to not put your life in harms way for the sake of retail items! She would have better served her company by calling the stores security or the police. She was indeed all the way around and once they left the store she was outside of the protection of the store. I am sure that she operated on instinct but she definitely put her life in harms way. It is the little old lady that must have thought whatever they had in the cart was worth more than her life.
