I don't, really. I do like the color red. But it's not really a tradition or anything. It's nice, though. Wearing red on Christmas is cool.

Wearing red for a celebration will make that event merrier. Because red represents passion and indirectly lift our spirit of celebrating. However, I wear red during Christmas celebration occasionally. I mean, it's not a must for me to wear in red while attending Christmas celebration function. But, I will certainly wear red during Chinese New Year. The Chinese believe red colour will drive the bad (monster) away, and bring good luck too! That's why you will see a lot of things are decorated in red colour during Chinese New Year.

You are most welcome and happy myloting too! I wish an early Merry Christmas to you. Hope you look gorgeous in your red attire for Christmas. Even if it's not a red one, I think it will be attractive too. I think I am celebrating this coming Christmas by hanging with my friends.

In my culture red is hardly ever worn to celebrate, or for any other reason, actually, although red ribbons are often used on Christmas packages.
Red is considered an angry color, clashing rather than soothing. However, I have had many friends who celebrate by wearing red clothing, and wrap presents in red, as well. I guess it is all a matter of one's upbringing :-)

Funny to find this discussion. I just went today and bought a satin green and a satin red shirt to wear to two differnt chritmas parites that we have to attend. I like the red one the best. Last year I wore a red sweater. So I guess I'm pretty traditional! LOL

It's new for me. Actually Christmas isn't our traditional holiday, but it becomes much more popular in these years. It's a coincidence that it's the same for Chinese New Year. Some people believe that they will be lucky next year when they wear red underwears. I don't believe it so I don't follow it.
I love China

Oh yes, I believe that red is the common Christmas motif not only red,, also green and white. Look at all the decorations around it is a combination of red, green and white. It can not be considered as Christmas color if you will used other colors than red and green.

No, not any specific colors. I usually just wear a funny holiday shirt. I bought an icp christmas shirt to wear this year. I dont think many people will like it, but I usually get funny looks anyway so oh well.
