Can you hear somebody even when they are silent?

Did you notice that LISTEN and SILENT are two words having the same letters. They say that this two words are significant in a friendship because only a friend can listen to you when you are silent. Do you agree? Are you aware of your friends feelings even if they don't talk about it? Do you have that connection that only a true friendship can sense? This can also be applied in a family relationship. I'm not that sensitive as a person but I can sense my friends and families concern even when they don't tell me that they have a problem. It is easier when you've got this kind of intuition cause you can help them without asking them that much, especially when a friend of yours is very shy to tell you their worries thinking that they might stress you with their burden. How about you, do you feel the same way?

Sometimes silence can be deafening. Silence speaks more loudly, at times, than actually talking. I hear silence most clearly when someone I am close to is in distress. And, yes, sometimes it is easier when you can hear and understand silence. You can bring the subject up, opening the way for your friend to say what needs to be said.

i agree with that being scary hehehehe its like racecar, spell reacecar backwards and its still racecar, kind of a perfect word if you think about it, which makes a racecar the perfect car to have :) listen to the engines roar hehehe

Yes! The face expression says a lot of what the person is thinking and you can read it.

I think that I am pretty intuitive about people that are in my circle. I tend to be able to "read" people often by not what they say, but what they don't say. We are by nature spiritual and emotional beings so its imperative that if you care about someone that you be able to hear them even when they have nothing to say.

Yes and No
You hear your ache
You can't really imagine theirs.
even if you try.
It's all about the depth of our love.
Your mind searches... when you love someone else
But it never touches base with everything they feel.
It can't! That is what is so marvelous about our hearts
and all the love we handle as it get's handed to us.
Nite nite
I am sleepy

Absolutely. I call it intuition. I have a very keen sense and can detect things are wrong or right when they say nothing. My friend had a job interview last week and she came over to the house aftrwards and I could tell she got the job by the countenance on her face. Sometimes friends don't need to tell you their problem they just need you to know they have one.

you're lucky you have it, cause others are just too insensitive that instead of helping someone especially their friends in distress they just make things worst, but I don't blame them though...open communication with someone is still the best option in understanding other people especially our love ones. ^-^
