i just did a housescan with trendmicro again and detected 300+ virus and worms which bitdefender did not detect so many. i ran the scan the 2nd time after the 1st scan and detect another 3 virus. i ran it the 3rd time and this time there is none. so i am not sure if there are any left

I agree that the forgot password idea is the best one to change your password accounts. That is rough having your accounts hacked. As it seems to be only you I would do a check on my computer that there is not a key logger on your computer. Changing your password will not help you if they can find your new password by means of a keylogger. Make sure you do a virus scan, do one of the online virus scans like Housecall just to make sure.
Make you password longer with more characters. Either get a password generator or make up a password you can remember. Use something like the phrase "my dog Rover has 99 fleas" and use the password mdRh99f or "my wife Heather has 12 toes" mwHh12t
and the password should be different for different sites so you can add something like the first letter of the site into the password. So say your password for myLot you add the m to the beginning and end of the password it becomes mmdRh99fm or mmwHh12tm or in the middle somewhere. Your password should be different for different sites.
I hope you can straighten all this out. Good luck.

I do unerstand that someone change your account password. In thins case you can generate new password as per the site accesibility but in general turms use forget password & specify your details to generate new password
You may generate new your choice password..

I think you have used the same password for all sites.Use different password for different sites.

How did it happen to you?I mean, what were you doing the last time you logged in?

It's under preferences/account information, just type in the old password, then the new one and you'll be done.
Sorry to hear about your problems too, I hope you get them fixed.

I don't know to solve this issue. But, just try with your old password and the security questions that have been asked by the website. But, I'm sure that the hacker would have changed all those details and all. Its hard to get back those things. If you get back your password, then you are really a lucky person.
