Do you own an air purifier?

Hi all do you have one? We do and it works wonders I tell ya. We have an EcoBox by EcoQuest. They are pricey but they get rid of ecoli and salmonella. It removes smoke from the air and other polutants that can harm your health like mold.
What do you think about air purifiers? We spent alot on ours and I believe it is doing it's job. So how many of you have one and what are your opinions on them?

I am now searching for air purifiers as the summer is coming, but before I find one, I just search the internet. I read some reviews about air purifier products. But still found it hard to choose. On the website: they give 10 recommendations, but to me it is still a little hard, by the way ,why would you choose to check the parameter of the air purifiers?

I wanted one because the apartment I live in now, housed a smoker before I moved in. A friend has a tiny one, but it has so much dust on it that I need to get the thing that puffs air on keyboards to clean them. I have no idea what the name is, but I'll just refer to it as an air blower. 
Anyway, I need get it cleaned so I can use it. It is small, but every little bit of cleaner air helps.
