Ciao changed the plan again.

After the temporary $1/review promo, Ciao has just announced that the .25/review rate is now officially gone. In replacement, they are announcing a "much better" designed Premium Fund. I know a lot of members will be sad over this announcement but I think this is coming since it is impossible to sustain paying all the review even at .25 rate.
However, I am sure everything will return to normal for Ciao -- meaning to say that less members will be making reviews and of course the site could expect less of those horrible reviews made just for the money alone.
As for me, I am just waiting for my pay-out next week then I don't know if I can be as active as I am now.

Well tombiz,
It depends how the premium fund works. Like for people at myLot. We are not too sure how this system works and how much you get per post. however people still remains. The opportunity is still there.
What it means for CIAO - one that certain members would find it harder to earn from them and start to deface them. devalue their worth. However they have to think long term. If should settle on a plan and stick with it. constantly changing their plans is not good for their reputation.

i just joined ciao this week and was surprised with the changes. I joined because I have seen a lot of mylot users rave about the .25c per review! It's just too bad that they totally changed the system. Although the new policy would actually make you earn more if selected it would be very difficult for me to do so since I am not a very good writer to begin with. haha! what a challenge :)

I am waiting to receive my payment as well but do not think I'll be writing for Ciao anymore. Right now, I've written about 5 reviews since the new policy and have only earned less than a dollar. I don't know where the money I have in my account comes from actually but I will just leave it there. I mean, if the payout's at $5 then I'll have to win second prize or something in order to make it to payout right?

I just joined ciao. I am not all that impressed with them. I don't know.. maybe I'm missing something. I posted 34 reviews so far and have got like 0 money. I guess that's why, but I can post 3 responses here and still show some money for it. I guess I just feel like I am getting more of a reward for my time on here. I may try to do a few more reviews and see if I like it any better. I am also having hard time figuring out what to review. Any suggestions?

Well, as far as payment and money is concerned, I got no problem whatsoever with Ciao. The regularly update my accounts with the earnings and I got paid already. Next week, I am expecting my next pay-out.
It is quite sad to know what is happening with your account. have you contacted on this why you are getting zero for all the 34 review you made? Maybe there could be a better explanation for this malady.

I have just signed up with Ciao and earned payout two times already. Of course I ahve requested both but shouldn't get them until next month. I guess I will continue writing for now and see what the future holds. I can't do as many reviews as I had been doing because now I will have to focus on something else that I know will pay. I hate it when I think I have found a great way to make $5-$25 a week and then it gets changed. Oh well, such is life.

I actually just joined Ciao and I'm quite disappointed with their new rates. I have heard a lot of good reviews about that site from my friends but I'm kinda hesitating if I will still continue it.
