Home alone on this chilly saturday night, is anyone else home alone?

Well, I was visiting Houston for the weekend so I was not only not alone, but I was visiting people I don't often get to see, many of them I haven't seen in several years. I had a great time and a lovely visit with friends.

Yes there is more of us home alone. My husband is in Louisiana where he has been since July 29th, and is trying to get home. The first month I didn't sleep at all. I went to bed when the sun came up. Then I started sleeping on the couch. Now I just go to my bed and sleep, I have the dog here with me and he will let me know if anyone is around. I live on a quiet street and I know the windows and door is secure, so that is not a problem. It just get boring here with no one to talk to. The dog has yet to answer me, some nights I have my grandson here, he is 21, and I guess just knowing that someone is in the house besides me makes it better. I stay up pretty late to play on the computer and respond to the discussions here. But will truly be glad when hubby gets back. I have to look to find something on the tv that is decent to watch. I know the family channel is showing christmas movies, sometimes I just get me a cup of International Coffe and curl up on the couch with my comforter. So be safe and know that there are others out there in the same shape. You said the roads was bad, so are ours, we had snow all day. It was good that he went to his parents and is safe it will be easier when day light comes to get back.

My whole family is here, but it is snowy and cold. We spent the entire day at home.

You should have gone with him. I remember the fun times we had when we went to the sheriff dept. Christmas parties. No not home alone unless hubby gets called out to work but it is doubtful. We have been watching college football and it is not looking good for the team we wanted to win. Hope you sleep good tonight, you don't have anything to worry about since you have your watch dog with you.

Well, it's just me and my 2 year old son at home tonight. I'm playing a game on moola and he is watching a Wiggles movie, so it's quiet at the moment. I hope you can manage to get some rest even though you are home alone. Have a great night!

i'm home alone doing laundry. exciting, right? only, i'm not really alone since i'm living in a dorm. but still...

I was at home alone on last Friday night. My husband went for a wedding dinner of his colleague, and I stayed at home alone until 11:30pm. I thought I'd have plenty of time doing my own stuffs, it ended up I kept surfing net, and spending time in mylot. I am spending a lot of time in mylot recently.

Currently I am never alone. I have a five year old and a 3 week old. When my hubby works late on a Saturday, I still have the kids to occupy my time. I generally wait for my hubby to come home to go to bed. Like you I don't sleep well alone.
