He was the World No. 1-ranked player for a record 237 consecutive weeks,from February 2, 2004, through August 17, 2008.Federer has won 13 Grand Slam singles titles currently just one shy of all-time leader Pete Sampras.He has a storied rivalry with Spaniard Rafael Nadal, who recently succeeded him as the WorldNo. 1 player.

injuries are part of game, legends like federer came out of it, and thats how they become legends.

He should , most of us are not aware of the fact that fot the best part of the year he was suffering from mononucleosis .. which is a sort of thing .. by hwich u will have constant fevr .. even then he dint complain abt it he went with his bussiness as usual.. he played the beset 2 games of the year.. the wimbledon final with nadal.. and the year end shanghai master's match with murray , both of which he lost ,, but after comppeting well..so he will be back to no:1
