Wat characteristics do u expect of ur life partner???

actually, i've already met my lifetime partner and here are the things i love about my hubby: - Understanding(can understand my mood swings) - Sweet, big time! - Smart and Witty - Fashionable - Faithful(i can attest to that!) =) - God-fearing - Cool and fun to be with We have lots of things in common and that's the main reason why we really jive!

As for me, there are several characteristics that I want to have in my partner are, accepting the strength and weaknesses that you have. It is easy to accept one's strength because it could be the reason for staying so long. Our strength could be a strength for our partner. This is because it could be the basis of their success and they challenge to have this kind of characteristics. The hardest part is the acceptance of each weaknesses. It could be the reason for misunderstanding, angry and misleading expectations. It is all a matter of acceptance for both strength and weaknesses. Second that I would consider is the responsibility issue. Once a person is responsible, everything can apply. It could from family, friends and office mates. Once it is started that she/he responsible to her/his family, then she/he will then provided a good and responsible family.

as far as i am concerned, i believe my wife should be intelligent and comely. In the first place, i like the smart and witty girl and she should own the special aspiration in some regions,such as history, finance or foreign language. In the second place, she might have the fine facial organs and comely shape. I am ambitious and industrious boy and hope to succeed in the career, and then i want my wife could support me in the future and i firmly loyal to her.

i expect my wife should be honest first of all she should be slim i hate fat ladies i like girls of six feet tall she be able to mingle with my family members and she should have a very friendly nature she should be cool all the time and more over she should me to the extent of her heart

Well, as you said, she should accept me for who I am, and all my shortcomings... Although, this isn't an ideal world. I've seen couples who had problems with one party being impatient with the other. Or some where both parties just always argue(but amazingly, still stay together even for years). As they say love is blind. What I would like to find out is, how many people would actually tell their partners what are their expectations of the other? Would you like it if your partner tells you to change certain bad habits(which might not be actually bad habits, but just drives the other person crazy)? I think I'm not answering the question ... haha.. Sorry... Shows my inexperience in this stuff :p But I'd love to follow on this post... It has gotten my curiousity how different it would be culturally. ie western culture vs asian culture.

Let me put down the characteristics in points...i am not so expecting person but as you have raised this questions so here goes my answer:- -She should be healthy and hygienic...i think this is the definition of beauty for me.. -She should be intelligent and logical...she should have her own point of view for every situation ...i donot want her to keep arguing with me ..but certainly would want her to come up with good ideas or constructive criticism... -She should have a good sense of humour...by that what i mean is she should be able to understand the wit and humour in our conversations and respond to it...

I expect my future man to be a nice, cute, smart and romantic person. Not only that, he has to respect me, love me for who i am, and accept me as who i am. I want him to be independent and willing to help other people. He should be successful in life or at least try to contribute to the society. He doesn't have to be rich but has to have a job that would led him to a middle class life. I want someone that can teach me new stuff instead of me teaching them stuff. He should be kind of sensitive. I hope he is not so hot that everyone will be dying to fall in love with him. He must be honest and loyal to me.
