Right now I have two part time jobs, so it won't affect me the way it did before. When the pay went down, I would try to find other things that pay. When the pay went up, I would spend more time here.

Hi Bala ji,
There is no difference. I don't think I will be able to start more discussions for money. My primary is concern is knowledge and friends not money. For me, starting a new discussion is not that much easy. Finding out a new and interesting topic is really a tough task. I prefer happiness rather than money. Thanks Bala ji, have a nice day.

Yes of course. Money is the number one reason why I am here so if they will increase the remuneration for starting new discussion they I'd certainly go out of my way to think of good topics every day so I could earn bigger. But inasmuch as mylot does not I do not really post new topic unless a good topic pops out my mind. Most of the time though, I just content myself with participating in the available discussions around and I enjoy and earn well by doing so.

To be honest my friend it wouldn't make a lot of difference to me, my activity on Mylot would still stay the same regardless. I keep coming back for my friends rather than the money side of it, sure the money is the bonus but it's certainly not the driving influence that keeps me coming back day after day!

If it was a significant amount that was able to be in parallel to what I earn professionally then I would make more effort in this area for sure! But this is never going to happen so all I can do is daydream! lol. I am not really concerned about the earnings anyway and I am also in a country at the moment that doesn't accept PayPal; so there's my proof that I am here for the fun! I am happy to just let it build up for now.

Thank you for the BR tag bala! Yes, I would love to be able to mylot full time and still manage to earn what I would earn in my job, but I would be delusional to think that this was even a possibility. Fun and enjoyment should be first and foremost, earnings are but a side bonus.

Hi Bala dear, app kaise ho........
Thanks for starting this discussion or else I would never know about this increase in remuneration for starting new discussion as I rarely start a new discussion. I did notice some people starting lot of discussions one after another since last few hours and I was wondering why....now I know......I think there is slight possibility for improvement in activity.....because more discussions means more responses and more comments. Personally it may not effect me as I will still be busy with my office work and will be in mylot only when I am free.......but overall things will be more active I presume.
Have a nice day.

hamaree pyaree pyaree parie ko kya hogaya hai aaj kaal......?Aps dear, you hardly make your appearance in mylot, and when you do,you end up giving wrong comments.........
Dont you think Bala that the only remedy for this is to increase her frequency of visits from swarg to mylot /narag/earth?????.....

I think that my pace of activity here will improve if mylot increases the remuneration for starting new discussions. Even though if will be more like a job than pleasure. Because then maybe earning will take the front seat.

To be frank, my activity has been decreasing over time. It used to be around 15 discussions a day. Nowadays, it's around 2 discussions a day.
Most of the discussions are the same and I do not want to reply to similar discussions just to increase my post count.
Nowadays, my mind is too occupied with other things to think of what discussion to start in mylot.
I have reached the stage where I am in mylot more for fun rather than for the money. Even if they increase the rate, I doubt I'll increase my activity very much.

I very rarely start discussions on myLot at the moment. As I haven't got net access at home, I'd feel bad about starting discussion then being unable to respond to replies.
If the renumberation were to increase I may be able to travel to where I can access the net more often though!

In my case its a definite "NO"....The reason I am not able to start new discussions is that how ever much I rack my brains,I do not seem to find interesting topics for discussion...If I finally do think of some wonderful topic,I realise that many people have already started similar topics.I do not think more remuneration will act as a stimulus to my brain to come up with interesting topics for discussion.......Perhaps if mylot has provision to sent a shock wave to activate some in active cells in my grey matter,it will do the trick.....

If you are here to only earn money then, one would. But then instead of participating and interacting in discussions amongs friends, we would be only looking at starting new discussions all the time. It would then be same topics, same questions, same issues being wordeed differently. Lesser reponses in the end. Bottom line i don't think the overall pace would change, and mine would not.

I don't think so. I wish my pace of activity would increase without bothering about the pay..because I love it here.
But I hardly have the time nowadays to even log on...and I miss mylot.
And since my activity has come down, I feel lost whenever I do log on...and that has nothing to do with the remuneration. Even if it was increased for starting a new discussion....I need to have the time to go through the responses and comment to them. So, it makes no difference to me.

Surely it will.I did enjoy being here and taking part in the discussions i used to spend alot of time doing mylot. When i looked at my earnings I was very disappointed. Now I divert my time for my excercises, my reading etc and only very occasionally i take part in the discussions.I have'nt in a while started any new discussions.I wish they would increase the remuneration.Only then its worth the time and effort.

My pace of activity here varies from day to day. I work other sites other than Mylot so it is hard to tell how much time daily I can put in here.

Not mine in particular but I believe some people will start really discussing and not just "discussing". Everyday you see many topics where people just say something, and when you want to respond, you can't because they just write something to fill-in these 4 lines of text. It's frustrating, but it's us who are choosing to participate :)

I think then we will have lot of discussions with only few responses to that because lot of people would be looking for that high paying spot which would be starting a new discussion.
I think if the increases do happen...then they should be on all categories and that way lot of people would be interested in joining mylot because they would know that they pay better in all fields.
Maybe if they said we pay this kind of money for anyone who can stay for this period of time on-line here maybe that would work and if you are not active for maybe 10 minutes then you are automatically logged off
