Hi friends. Whenever you need to access an icon in your desktop you will minimize all the windows and then click on the icon know. Instead of that use the ctrl+D to minimize everything and directly go to the desktop. It is similar to the show desktop option available near the start button. You can use this even while the games, videos, whatever program is running. This information may be useful for someone who are new to the computer.

Thanks for the information. Yes, i use the quick launch a lot, but im lazy and use direct keyboard shortcuts instead of using the mouse.
When something hands, i use the "windows key" to pop up the start menu and automatically minimize all windows.
Besides that there are two other shortcut keys that i often use:
"windows key" + D will show desktop and
"windows key" + M will minimize all windows.

Here's a very good website if you don't know it already! You basically subscribe to this website which is free and computer tips are sent to your email box on a daily basis. well there are many short cuts . but thanks for telling me. i like to run star dock with my windows so that every time i need a shortcut i just have to move my mouse to the top of windows and all the short cuts i kept there pops up. but in case of gaming your way is better.

yeah i knoW!i love it but u mean THE WINDOWS KEY
the windoes key is the one with the windows logo on it!
and u an also use the shortcut windows key and M
winkey+M to do the same thing
