Right now I am reading a book titled ' A world waiting to be Born' by M scott Peck. He also authored 'The Road Less Travelled' a bestseller. I am now more to spiritual and inspirational books and one good book by Bridget Menezes "Self Empowerment". Those Mills & Boons and Barbara Cartlands books are no longer my favorites.

Harry Potter is an obvious choice. I've read all 7 books and I've read each more than once. I also like the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer. The book's better than the movie. I'm also into Gabriel Garcia Marquez. A bit more complicated to read but really good. Paulo Coelho is also a good one. His books are deep yet presented in a very simple manner.

Recently i am reading "Pride and Prejudice". Jane Austen is my favouriate writer. Her works have a special style that is different the others. Her works are lovely, light-heartand sometime humours. they are very interesting. Her works have been filmed many time. I recommend Pride and Prejudice (BBC 1995) and Sence and sencibility (1995).Becoming Jane(Anne Hathaway) is a good movie about Jane Austen.

I am currently reading a book called, "The Measure of a Man". It is an autobiography of a famous actor (the first black man to win the Academy Award for Best Actor), Sidney Poitier. It has been taking me many months, and I am still only over half way through. This is not because the book is particularly long. I have trouble keeping interesting in a book. It has to be really exciting, like the Harry Potter series. I recently have been reading short stories (by Mark twain and James Baldwin). I think short stories are best for me.

I'm currently reading Elijah, the third installment in Jacquelyn Frank's Nightwalker series. The series is about different nightwalkers (i.e. demons, vampires, lycanthropes, etc..creatures who walk the night.) Frank has a different take on her demons; they are elegant controlled being who control certain elements, like fire, earth, wind, etc.
Elijah is the story between the brave demon warrior and his relationship with the tempestous Sienna, queen of the lycanthropes. Frank's prose can be wordy and sometimes unwieldy, but she can spin a fascinating tale enough to make me read her books.
It is a paranormal romance novel. If you are not familiar with the genre, they are romances with fantastic elements, like vampires, demons, werewolves, fairies, etc.

My reading interests are mainly non-fiction. I read fiction only by strong recommendations. I read a lot of technical books that helps me in my profession. I like History.I just noe completed reading Gandhi and Churchill by Arthur Herman. One can learn a lot from history about the people of a nation. Only once a bookseller at an Airport convinced me to buy a novel!
