i've read einstein's papers.
even though he had built up his theories (i am talking about special and general theory) on the work of others(such as riemann) his work at that time wasn't stolen because no other person came up with any theory which would be even close to his description of the world.
Nobody before him published that. And nobody after 1905 came forward to claim the authorship. Einstein was in no position of power, political of financial, to stop them.
The innumerable lectures given by Einstein to great scientists in front of live audiences clearly point to that fact that he himself knew relativity, that too at a time, when it was said that only 3 people in the world understood relativity. (The three were Einstein, Eddington and Chandrasekhar).
Please, don't stoop so low, as to debase Einstein himself. There is a wealth of information suggesting relativity to be his original work, including personal letters.
And about labs, remember that no experimental data, except for the Michelson-Morley experiment, was needed for relativity. The experiments came after the theory. And for colleagues, he used to correspond with Henrik Lorentz and, later, Hermann Minkowski, other than his good friend, Besso.
Some people love these gossips. Man, he was one and great. Discuss his physics rather than verify their authorship. The edifice of relativity is awe-inspiring.
No doubt, He is a Great Genius.
I also admire Thomas Edition.

well , There will be many more to come as many of the things are still to be invented. Time machine is such an example of it. people are waiting for it but many scientists think that ots not possible but I think that every thing is possible on this earth.
May be there will be another Einstein in any part of the world and will be waiting for his fame.

I think you forgot Stephen Hawking.
He is the most famous scientist in Theoretical Physics after Einstein .
