I guess every little bit count in today's market. I have a small business selling island style jewelry on the internet. The business is profitable but nowadays it is very difficult to seek for a loan or a line of credit. Do you have more information about this program regarding the $1 billion credit available for small business? I would love to apply. Since you are interested in HSBC, there is this reporter in Hong Kong who broke in tears when she witnessed a big drop in HSBC stock two days ago at the last minute before the stock market closed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwFr_Dnkvcc

This sounds a lot of money - but no doubt the small businesses will have to jump hurdles to get this money. Also, I do not trust banks. When I was running a small business, I would never co0nsider borrowing from a bank - they can demand instant repayment of overdrafts and demanded too high a price for collateral to guarantee the money. Steer clear!
