in most of the companies today they are not only looking at the Intelligent Quotient of their employees but Emotional Quotient is also being considered to. Most companies would even prefer employees who are emotional stable and knows how to deal with others and can work with others rather than those who have high IQ but low when it come to their emotions. which one are you, do you consider yourself high in IQ or high in EQ?

Yes I have a very stable and high EQ and a reasonably high IQ. I am not at all sure about the tests though and what they show. Most IQ tests rely on common knowledge and local knowledge so if you do an online test and lots of the questions are about the US and you are not an American then you may not know the answers.
I am not at all sure that intelligence is best measured by knowledge of these things. You could be a brilliant mathematician who knows very little of the world outside of your books.
I think emotional quotient is probably a better test of what sort of employee you will make as it measures how you interact with people and can show if you will fit into an organisation or not.

that is true that is why most companies prefer employees who are emotionally stable than those that would react to things negatively for this can't help the company grow. thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. appreciate it a lot. happy mylotting!!!

I am very high IQ, above average EQ. I would like to see tests also for creative intelligence (art, music, writing), tactile intelligence (doing things with your hands), and above all a genuine test of wisdom.
I would rate above average creatively (I was a successful songwriter/musician), probably pretty low tactile intelligence (I'm a mechanical/practical klutz), and I have no idea whether I have wisdom or just knowledge. That would be the hardest one, because wisdom is probably subjective, and one man's definition of wisdom might be another's definition of stupidity.
