Serving utensils

What kind of person are you?As in would you go all out to buy serving plates/utensils(like the pic here, the erm, 'plate' to serve the shrimps) to impress your guests when they come over for a meal?
Or you just use what you have, like would you be embarassed to use the pot your cooked your soup in to serve it to your guest?

whenever i have guests i always wanted my food to look good and delicious so when i cook i always do plating, i arrange the food in a serving plate of course. but sometimes i just used the utensils i already have, i just put some garnishing to make it look good.
