InBox Notifications.

i choose not to have the notifications sent to my inbox...as i already have too much mail coming to me. between all the sites im on..so i choose to just log in and respond when i get here. happy mylotting. happy holidays

i did miss some of my friends on weekend.many of them postpone their shopping for weekends.and others donot spend much of their time on mylot,maybe because of previous commitments.

Hi chevee! Yes, I did notice it too! It has been a very quiet weekend! I think everyone was out doing their Christmas shopping! I had very few email notifications too. Today was even less than yesterday, although Sundays are usually the quiestest day anyway. I guess it may be this way until after the holidays. Since I wasn't here last year either I don't really know how it is at this time of year. Even I haven't spent as much time as usual this week on here. I have some things to take care of that I have been putting off myself. I am trying to get my apartment finished and decorated for Christmas and time is running out! So I am trying to split my time and spending a few hours in the evening on here.

I still got a couple of messages today in my inbox,so I didn't notice anything of such...If I may ask,can I be your friend? Thanks

I notice the messages were not alot as well. I notice that at the end of the month I get a ton of emails. I think people are trying to catch up and get pay out. But when first of month comes they tend to relax. I like to get close to my pay out before hand. That I way I am not fighting at the last mintue to trya nd get it.

Hmmm,.. haven't thought about it until reading this, but yes, I guess activity has seemed a little off this weekend. Once in a while it is good to check your junk or spam folder when you have these thoughts. It has happened in the past that all my myLot stuff went straight to junk mail. Doesn't happen often but it has.

Wow, Can I send you over my e mail box please? My box has been getting fuller and fuller, its going to take me half of next week to get around to emptying my box, could do with some help. Perhaps they have all gone christmas shopping?

My mailbox has been rather quiet as well. I just assumed these people were out doing their holiday shopping

I haven't really noticed anything today, but now that you mentioned it, I really didn't get as many notifications as I did during the week. I guess most of them are actually having a life outside of Mylot huh? That's the way it sure looks to me Chevee. I was on Mylot on and off all day yesterday, but today I was gone for the most part of the day visiting my mom and dad which lives in walking distance from us. I just got back home a few minutes ago, and I'm darn glad to be back home.(mylot)

Yes, I did notice that I wasn't getting many discussions in my email. I wonder if it's that quiet or if it's a system glitch.

Since I'm relatively new to mylot I wasn't sure if this was normal or not. I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one to notice it. I'm not sure why that other person would block his notifiers because he was getting too much mail. The first thing I do is go through and delete any mail I know I won't be interested in without reading it. That narrows down the number of emails in my inbox and I can concentrate on the ones that I want to read. Being notified is the only logical way to keep up with which discussions you are commenting in and who or when you are being responded to. It would take a lot more time if I had to manually search through all the discussions for the ones I wanted to check on. Maybe he is not interested after he makes his post and gets his penny. Go figure.

Interesting observation. I'm not online on the weekends as much as the weekdays anyways but did check my notifications and yes, they do seem lower than usual. Anyways, I'll try my best to increase those numbers :)

Mine has been pretty slow all week. I was just thinking maybe everyone was shopping or getting over Thanksgiving and resting up for the hustle and bustle of Christmas right around the corner. I will have a few in the morning when I check my email and all of a sudden during the day I might get two or three come in at the same time from different people.

For about a month or so, I haven't been getting a lot of the notifications in my email.. There are about 5 people on my friends list who I have just happened to run across and noticed that they were posting but I wasn't receiving anything about it.. I checked to make sure my notify was on and it was, but still no email from them.. I do hope Mylot gets this glitch straightened out as I do miss some of them and have to do some hard searching to find their discussions in order to respond..
