How was your life this year 2008 ?

I really didn't have a good year. I had a lot of bad stuff happen. However its coming to the end of the year and things are starting to look better.

This year was so messed up for so many reasons. For one 2007 wasn't to good but I maintained. I swore 08 would be better and have only seen times get worse. I still haven't recorded any new music or got my entire studio back together fr that matter. My brother went to prison and may not come out for six years (or more, originally they wanted to give him 17). Of course the economy is bad and we are all struggling but some people have managed to keep their selves above water. Not me. I lost my apartment in March and broke up with my girlfriend after almost a year and a half of being together. I couldn't see my daughter for her birthday which I NEVER miss and she so wants to see me. I miss her more than anything. I know things are going to get better. I have a friend who is going to invest money in my music and rebuilding the studio, and I am planning on opening a restaurant next year. But as for 2008, I am ready for it to be over already. Here's to 2009, may it be a blessed year for everyone!

I am thankful for the year that God has given us. The first half of the year was going pretty well. It looked like we were going in the right direction, everyone was happy and healthy. Good news came from different members of the family such as weddings, engagements, pregnancies and a promotion. That seemed to change mid year, we had 5 deaths on my husbands side of the family including his father, a cousin lost her baby due to miscarriage and the person that got the promotion lost his position and took a huge cut in pay just to stay employed. My brother lost his job, I have been out of work for 2 months now due to cellulitis in my leg and probably not going back for a couple more months. Through the grace of God we all got through these issues and we hope that next year will bring us more happiness. To look on the bright side of things once again, we have another engagement, planning a wedding in May and a sis-in-law expecting a baby in April.

It is like a dream for me this year,I just cannot believe all the things I have encountered are real.I'm still in the dream and couldn't figure out what is true around me.It was my second time to get on a police car.I lost one of my bestfriends and I almost lost my mobilephone in the bathroom.But I have a new little brother who is one of the middle school students I have taught.I fell in love with a guy who turned out to be another girl's boyfriend and I unfortunately met a thief who steal my friend's mobilephone.That's funny,haha.It is funny that my entire life is filled with possibilities and mistakes and is like a comedy.

in2008, I would like to call my life "bittersweet". Bitter: I should have studied harder. Sweet: I got a second prize from a english speech contest. And, most importantly, I was growing rapidly in this year. haha!

My life this year was good for me because i find a job that perfect for me,I also have a lot time to expend for my girlfriend.My family is also OK they have in the good condtion

my 2008 as for as my life iam thankful iam a live but as for the ecomony it been hard for me

well, i can say taht this year is a mixture of pleasurable and difficult experiences.. though the demands in school were far more greater than before, i'm still happy coz finally i'm a regular BSA student..=) a lot more challenging works fot 2009 though..

O man life for me this 2008 is bad, for chinese we belive in chinese horoscope. In horse horoscope it says that this year is going to be a bad year for me. Well it is, but i've survived....... Ha....... Well year 2009 is here and i hope that it would be better, the world economy will improve and the world peace......

The year of 2008's been year of a rollercoaster ride.. there have been ups and downs, twists and turns, happy and sad moments,i had serious problems with my family but i'm about to fix it.. i hope 2009 would be a fruitful one, less hassles, less dilemmas, no health problems, etc..I know the mistakes i've done will shape me into a better person..

My life this 2008 was not really exciting, my world just turned to my family... The only good thing i can be thankful no one get sick to my family members... Aside from that nothing... Hope i can makes changes and do some travelling by next year..

I think that my year 2008 has been so good to me although I encountered a lot of problems and difficulties towards the middle of the year. I went through a lot of things and made a few huge decisions about my life and career. This includes my resignation from work and going back to school. It was like looking for myself and what I really want to do in my life. I am thankful to God for the strength and blessings that He gave me. I am also grateful to my family, boyfriend and friends who supported me in every step that I took this year. It was a rough road but I made it through because of them. In 2009, I am looking forward to a more fruitful year in my life.

How time flies!While i am still remember the start of this year,here coming it's end.Look back this year,I have got a lot of experiences.Happiness and sadness,surprise and disappoint.Anyhow it have gone by.I think I have make progress in some way more or less.Let's looking forward to the new year! I absolutly had THE WORST year in 2008 it started off crapy & ended crapppy. I lost my baby, & my car in the same year & my job? well thats hanging by a strand. There was one great thing in 2008 WE GOT A BLACK PRESIDENT !! So hopefully 2009 won't be sooo bad !! Nite !!

My year was...exciting.I broke my leg(started working on the internet),moved to another city,found a new soulmate.I think I`m compleately ready for 2009.Fresh start.I don`t know what to do so I`ll just be prepeard for the new Year..And for 2 parties..LOL. *Sorry for my English*

horrible i've moved 2 times in 2008, trying to find a kid i can live with and even tried it on my own, where i can survive. we will see

My life for 2008 was a total disaster...I could not and have not been able to find a job. I had a close family member to pass away and in all things just have not been right at all. The only thing that has kept me sane through out this year is my daughter, she shows me everyday why I can't give up on anything, I love her so very much. I am hoping that 2009 will be a better year for me.

2008 has definitely been one of the worst years of my life. I've been going through a lot. Financial problems, family problems, people at work and school treating me like garbage. I'm not even looking forward to the holidays this year. I just hope 2009 is better for me.

It has been a very challenging year for me. I left my old job for a new one in July. I had experienced financial shortage which I never experienced before, I took a lot more risks this year than I have ever taken in my life. On a deeper perspective, I guess this year has been the most challenging and intellectually stimulating year so far! I can't wait for the next one!

Hi, zatak07. It's really bad for me this year. Whether our country or my family, it's a bad year. There is earthquake, snow disaster, economy crisis in our country. There are debts, sickness, unemployment in my family. I hope when 2008 is over, all bads can go away too. I hope 2009 is a new year with good luck for me, and for all people.
