I've learned that I can go on very little sleep. I just switched to a full-time graveyard position and am going to school full-time. Ideally I need about 7 hours to function at 100% but can go on less :(

I have to have atleast 8-9 hrs at night in order to be able to function the next day. If I don't then im extremely tired the next day at work. I hate them days tho but not every night I can get that much sleep. Then I always make up for loss sleep on the weekends.

If I don't get at least six hours sleep a day I would not be able to function throughout the day. I sleep extra hours during the weekend.

I routinely get 5 hours sleep a day. I work nights from 11pm to 7am, and I go to bed about 10am, and wake up about 3pm, spend my afternoons doing as I please, then go to work. I once did 10 days in a row sleeping 4 hours a day. That was hard but not too hard. Lately I did 8 days in a row with 5 hours sleep a day.
