What makes up your Christmas shopping list? Electronics, dolls, cars/trucks, or balls?
What should I buy for my nephew who is almost 4 years old? He already has the Nintendo DS, or whatever it's called, and I don't know what to get him. What are you buying for your friends and family?

i agree with the books. i jus finished all my xmas shopping which included a 3 1/2 year old girl and boy. I bought them both a lot of books that are a little above their level. the boy LOVES spiderman and doesnt want anything but lol, so i bought him some books about spiderman, i actually also bought him a set of 'multi sports' equipment..it included a soft baseball bat (but baby soft, but soft enough that he cant really hurt himself or anyone else), a mini football, baseball and a baseball glove. i think he will really love it, and it will keep him active and at the same time keeping him from getting too bored, he has so many options!
for kids, i really try and stay away from anything video game like or tv related, thats how kids get dependent on them, and learn to be lazy. Any type of game or activity that will keep them moving or thinking i think is best for that age. they are spunges, if all they learn is to keep busy playing video games and watching tv why would they ever want to change?
