This is a question I have been dying to ask law enforcement. I have even ask my grandma and have thought about this question for for many months. I have even tried to think of an answer that law enforcement would give me if they pulled me over for speeding and I asked them " I am just curions officer, you pulled me over for speeding right? (officer says yes I did), Well would you be able to tell me if they dont want people to break and speed because its so dangerous and has cost so many young people their lives, then why do they make cars that exceed twice the legal speed limit for most freeways?
Do you think this would get you out of a ticket if not tell me why, Do you think this is a good or bad question please explain why?

I think it is a very good question, but I don't think asking it of the officer that pulls you over for speeding will do any good. He just enforces the law. That needs to be asked of the legislature that makes the laws.

Well that was going to be the next thing, My grandma said it is something I should write a letter to and send it to the state legislature and see what they say in respond to my letter. I have been really debating on if I should do it thought. I wouldnt want any kind of backlash or anything.

I think most of them would just think that you are making a joke and laugh out of it, but if you found a rude officer would tell you how he is doing his job and not having any interest in what the car manufactures are doing.
But I think is a great question but I don't think it can get you out of trouble, they will just make fun out of it while they are writing down your ticket

First of all don't ever say anything to the law unless you absolutely have to. Then that cop can write you a warning ticket, a $100 one or a $300 one and which one you get will mostly depend on what you say to him and how you say it. If you act the least bit sassy you can plan on getting the big one. I have said a lot of kind words to people for a lot less than $300. You will never go wrong to show respect for any cop. Don't ever try to con one. He will pick up on it and hit you with the max.
