I found a great list of phobias here: http://phobialist.com/
I was floored when I saw how many there truly are! I tried not to get all "mental hypochondriac" when reading them, however, I have to say that my biggest phobia is arsonphobia - the fear of fire.
Anyway, your turn have any fears, phobias, or anything else that makes your skin crawl?

Yes, i have 3 known fears which are fear of heights, flying and being in confined spaces. I have had these fears for all my life. I have never flown in an airplane and do not plan on it anytime soon. I try not to look out the window of high buildings and I do not like to be in small places so i have never had a cat scan done because I may panic when it is time to go in the machine.

I actually have a slight phobia of cockroaches and palmetto bugs. I live in Florida and the situation can get out of hand if you don't keep clean enough. I don't have problems with cockroaches at the moment (luckily because of no close neighbors) but the inevitable palmGHETTO bugs as we like to call em are going to make their way in somehow. The garage is their breeding grounds and they can just flatten themselves out and squeeze right under your door.
When I saw your post I had just been freaked out by one actually crawling up my chest while replying to a different post! I saw something out of the corner of my eye and it was a giant palmetto bug chilling on my shoulder, I freaked out and slapped it off then turned the light on and smacked with a shoe lol. Def woke me up.

I used to have fear of the height and i was always afraid to go to big cities where there is this big buildings, I would normally call someone to accompany me to the city. But right now that fer seems to have just disappeared, I don't fear any more and can confidently and alone go to the city and feel comfortable.
But i believe this fears could be worse if one don't get help soon, I mean it could be worse if someone has a fear of going to out to the public, how is that kind person going to live if they have such fear?

I'm not going to visit the list, because I don't think I want the fodder, LOL. I'm pretty claustrophobic. Sometimes it is so bad I can be in a perfectly normal room but in the corner and start feeling the panic. Other times, if the dog lays on me a certain way so that the covers won't let me move my legs, I start getting all "crawly" until I need to get her to move. I'm not always that bad, but there are times when I almost panic.

I have Arachnephobia or Arachnophobia- Fear of spiders, belonaphobia- a fear of needles, claustraphobia- fear of small spaces, and coulrophobia- a fear of clowns. I think I'm a regular nut case.... I never knew that there were so many phobias out there. I mean... my minor is in psychology and all, but I really didn't know that there were that many out there.
