would you? change the path of your life? do things the different way? start all over again? well the reason i'm asking this is because i want to redo everything i've done.it's just that for some reason i feel like i'm back to where i started again. the feeling of uncertainty. life really is full uncertainties. don't know what to expect. i just hope next year will be a good year for me. got to keep fighting. no way of turning back for all the decisions i've made this year. have a good day mylotters.:)

No, there are so many things that had I known better back then I could have done better for now...like get an education so I didn't spend the rest of my life at minimum wage jobs... like having a career BEFORE getting married and kids so I'd have a financial background to work with to support that marriage and kids.... like knowing that i am worth something and can make something of myself.... like finding self confidence ALOT sooner so I wasn't constantly walked on and taken advantage of... and have a life for myself for a few years instead of getting married as soon as someone asked me because that is all I was told I was suppose to do... and the list goes on. INvesting in plastic would definately be on top of my list!!!!

Before I met my fiance I would have pressed reset if there was one. Every relationship I had was bad relationships, abusive cheaters is what I always fell for. A person who was never there. I always thought I was going down the wrong path that was intended for me to go down. I had two kids at the time. I didn't think that I was gonna find anything good besides my kids and family to come around. Then one day my sister and her boyfriend which is my fiances cousim, introduced me to him. He took up with my two kids, and they thought so highly of him. Now we have a set of twins of our own as well, to make us having four kids. He helps me cook clean, and do everything. He is so sweet and kind towards me, he actually sits down and talks to me each and everyday to see what I'm thinking and how I feel.

I would only reset the bad stuff, not the good things. I wouldn't reset my kids cause they are my life my everything. They are what makes me strong each day and help me go on living life day by day a little at a time.

I agree that life is tough and I am sorry about the hardship that you faced. But we all learn the most important lesson from failure, mistakes and sadness. There is a saying, "no pain, no gain". So, if we reset our life, we will lose all the precious experience and knowledge that we have gained. So, without those past experience and knowledge, we will start as ignorant and naive as we are in the past. We are having the same tendency to repeat our mistakes again. Why do we need to suffer the same ordeal and mistakes twice. Therefore, I will take all the bad encounter as my painful and precious lessons. I am sure I won't press the reset button. I hope you will be doing good again, and positive thinking is the only key that help us get through all hardship and convert it into our useful experience. With such precious experience, we could do it better next time. Hope are always waiting for us in the future. All the best and good luck to you neilchua!

You are most welcome nelchua. I really hope my words will boost your spirit as what you have said. I will be very much happy if you are convinced that being optimistic is what you need to get over all the hardship that you face now. At times, I have been so depressed by you. But I managed to keep myself thinking about the good side of bad event. I love the sayings of, "every failure contains the seed of success".

Alas! there could be a button like it, by pressing which we could have reset our life, as we do it on computer. Had there been a button like it, I would have liked to start certain tasks/things in my life - afresh. When we have done with certain things, we wish and rethink that it could have been done in a better manner, sometimes we do not get an opportunity to revise our task, then we repent, oh! why I cannot we do it again. I think, it is only a wishful thinking, which comes in the mind of all of us.

I know and you know that it is too impossible to get back to where life, our life started. There are certain things that we would like to be corrected but the only thing we can do is to learn from that mistake and choose whether to take the same path as before or take the other way. And there are also a lot of things in our life that even if we start all over again, it will always be the same as we have no choice, like who are our parents and so on. But I guess there is one thing, a computer feature that I would like to try, or I think it would be better than "RESET". When the system seems to get in trouble, we can "RECOVER" or boot the system from "LAST KNOWN GOOD SETTING"...

lol. you are technically correct my friend. didn't think of that. but let me remind you though, "system restore" does not always work the way you expected it. that's why there is still the "undo system restore." lol. glad to here from you again neildc.:)

yes i know my friend. the reason we want to recover the last know good setting is that you just thought that you just made a mistake, right? so the only thing that will be erased is the last mistake and it will immediately be corrected...

obviously.......everyone expects to have reset the past life............because they might have learned a lot from thier past .and could have never that again.and more over we can rectify our faults and correct ourself in all aspects.............and simply without any defects we can .be in any aspect............. and more this uncertainities can be eliminated..if such a button is there...........i donot have grind and sarcasm ..towards.this .... so i hope better not to have a chance............of reset button..........if so then there will no place for mankind to survive due to over population........

Wouldn't change a darn thing - not for all the tea in China. And everything you have ever experience has created you - RIGHT NOW - so recreating the past would recreate YOU - and that stinks! So start where you are, and create anything you want from THIS EXACT VANTAGE POINT.

I think i would change mine as well, there's so many things that i would change about my life. I thinkg that people all over would do this if they had the chance. I think i would start with my personal life and then my career choices. I dont know but you're right about life being full of uncertainty.

Hello, neilchua. If life had a reset button, I'd certainly not press mine. If I could change things, I wouldn't learn all that I learned on the long run. If I could change my path, I wouldn't be who I am. Being here is what makes me be this person that I am. I am like this because of the choices I made, the path that I followed. And reseting it would just like be erasing myself. But I am sure that you can always be starting your life again and again. In everyday, when you wake up, you can be different. Starting over is an attitude. You can do it. I can do it. But it is not easy, we must be strong enough to take it off the thoughts and put it into action. And then, my friend, your life will be as you wish, since you will be following the path you want. Respectfully, Munhozmib.

i wouldn't. my life is not perfect too, but i am very thankful with how my life goes. there may be challenges and trials that i unexpect but im still thankful for having been through those rough times. because, those tough moments taught me how to handle life's misery better and fairly. i wouldn't want to be reset for any reasons that i could think off.

if there's a reset button that's capable of re-setting one's life, i'd probably the first person to do that..there's lot of things i'd like to change like decisions that have been affecting my life right now, etc.. but i guess, i've got no choice but to face the reality..

Hi Friends I would really love,if life had a reset button. If given me a chance, then I would love to go to my childhood days. They were full of fun and energy without any tensions and worries.I used to play so much ,so much mischeif. We used to, play lot of games, share food among all our friends and used to play pranks on others. We used to break windows of others when we played cricket. Those were golden days,I really wish that those days come back. Bye!!!!!!
