Will not eating all day make you "Fatter"?

I'm a little confused with this one... My friends keep telling me that if i skip meals then when i eat it'll turn into fat right away... and i suffer from bulimia so i duont know if that effects anything...

I'm not sure where your friends got that information from but..no, ifact it has quite the opposite effect if you starve yourself and purge your body has nothing to convert to energy eventually your body starts eating it's onself as a last resort which is very unhealthy

Please eat atleast one good meal a day and take care of yourself. theres no need to do this to yourself I hope you get better:( ,I understand though I'm a cutter

Absolutely no, no one will become fat when they skip meals.... coz, if nothing get into your stomach, how will you become fat??? rather, you will become lean and strength less.....

Bulimia is a an eating disorder just like Anorexia. I think its the same, I don't know. Anyway this is a disorder for those who don't want to get fat. They self or voluntary purge out of what they have eaten. And about that "Will not eating all day make you Fatter". To make clear, its not eating all day then eats or eats a lot at dinner or before going to sleep will make fatter. Because during sleep the digestive system don't work too much because the body busy making rejuvenation or the immune system is at work. So don't eat too much or eat some hard to digest food at night or before sleeping. Or don't sleep right after you eat dinner at least an hour. So I think the best way for that is to eat all day specially breakfast and don't eat at dinner or just eat less...... so chow! and stay healthy mylotters and thanks a lot ^_^

Yeah, for some people it might... everyone is different... but it's not good to skip a meal anyway... it'll just make you hungrier when its time for the next one and what your friends say does hold some truth.. when you go without fatting your body goes into a certain mood and then it'll hold the fat you are eating instead of burning it.. even if you can't eat a whole meal.. it is at least good to put a little something in your tummy. that way it won't be like you are starving yourself. even a peace of toast will do

In my case it did not worked. And the truth is it will never affects your way of being fat unless you ate those fatty foods. Just try to more fatty foods with lots of carbohydrates and took a rest with almost nothing to do. Less burnings of calories Well I'm sure you will be getting bigger. As far as I know the more calories we have into our body which is not burned and stored inside are makes us fat. But to skipped meals is not working it will cause so far I know an ulcer. Better eat well a healthy foods friend.

What your friends mean is that if and when you miss a meal thn you eat more during the next meal time and thats how you gain weight. What you can do is to make sure that you don't eat too much when you do eat. Or eat at least four times a day, even if it is nly small amounts of food
