Personally, I find the game of American football to be thoroughly enjoyable and fun. The possibilities in terms of the plays you run and what kind of defence you play are endless. I kind of started getting into the game after reading John Grisham's book, Playing for Pizza. From there I started trying out the Madden games and then started watching online highlights of all the games.
And I don't live in the USA.
So my question is if anyone else here is a fan of this sport but doesn't live in the USA? Because from what I gather most fans are from the US.

American Football or Gridiron really has not made it big outside the US. I'm Filipino and I'm currently based in "Soccer mad" Singapore...Oppps make that Football mad :o), and I'm a huge NFL fan. I consider it my favorite sport, coz the game really is enjoyable, and the action is non-stop. I also watch College Football, and I support them gators!

I am from Canada, but I actually prefer the NFL to our league which is the CFL. Its not as exciting and the American fans are so much more die-hard I find. I have been to both CFL and NFL games and I just found myself enjoying the NFL game as well as the crowds so much more . However, my parents own their own football team, its a local rep team for kids aged 14-17 in hamilton called Steel City Steelers, and I actually find myself getting more into watching the younger kids play than both the CFL and NFL combined.
