Doesn't anyone else find facebook's extra "features" annoying?

I have like 99 new notifications on Facebook. Suddenly it reminds me of my Yahoo mail, 6000 new messages. Unread. And I don't have that many friends either, personally, I can't imagine.

Oh my gosh yessss, I agree fully. I get like 50+ invites to all of the stupid games daily!! I use a few of the applications (word twist, graffiti, superpoke), but the rest of them just drive me insane. Especially that mafia wars one. But yes, you are not alone =)

Yes so much i hate when i get on facebook and i have all these notifications consisting on stuff i dnt really care about invites to do a survey or to add an application on nonsense or invited to play games idk it juss all annoys me alot and especially when it takes up soo much room on your profile i hate peoples profiles who has soo much stuff on it and the worst part of it i bet they dnt even use half of that stuff they added lol but now i dnt really phase it that much i juss try not to get my hypes up when i see i have new notifications and hopin that someone wrote on my wall or something lol and its juss another dumb invite for something i really dnt care about but hey some people juss dnt have anything else to do

This is exactly why I went from Myspace to Facebook. I get onto facebook and I'm like "oh cool new notifications!" only to find that they are invites to games or something. I agree with you that they are annoying but some are decent applications. I use the birthday calendar and I used to play Jetman against my friends.
