number of posts going down

I know that you can loose about 25 posts if you reply to a discussion that's against the guidelines, or just like the first person who posted said, it could be because the discussion has been deleted. I wouldn't worry about it much. There only a number of how much times you've posted and you've only lost 5 posts.

Oh mylot is like the stock exchange or commodities. It is very normal happenings here. Sometimes when you response to a discussion that has link, your points will go down and responding to some sensitive issues also affect your points. What ever it is you have to get use to this fluctuation of points or earnings and the star rating too.

I never notice that but I have seen people complaining about it too. I can't understand how that can happen. lately my rating has dived so drastically which puzzled me. But my earning is not affected.

Hi there! Do dot be surprised and just get used to this! Sometimes your discussions or responses got deleted (of sometimes unclear reasons) that's why your number of posts decreased. It's quite sad and unfair, I know...I had thisa experience before.

hey...i also had the same problem...yest i had 105 posts and today when i saw it was 102...i thought i had mis-counted it yest..but when i saw your thread i thought there is some problem with mylot..we can wait and check if anyone else has the same problem... i hope if the problem is with the site then it is soon rectified.. thanks happy mylotting...

Hi Llonorra this happened to me before and i realized some of thepost that i responded got deleted.

i dont really pay attention of the number of points i get here. i just post and post and post. once you lost some points you can never get it back. the reason of post going down is if a discussion you responded got deleted. that is what makes the post decrease. i no longer mind that number i just have a good time here. just have fun and you will see your post will reach more than you expect. dont be sad just have fun

I did lost some numbers too. But its okay. Just stick to the responding posts we'll catch up.

i have experienced this also and like what others said this is caused by some of the discussions you have responded being deleted by the mylot people. just keep on posting to cover up for the lost number of posts. sad to say we can't get the lost posts back.

I experienced something like that when I first crossed the 100 mark and a couple it later...The numbers go down if some discussion which we posted a response to are removed for some reasons like policy violations ,etc.,and sorry I haven't heard of anyone getting those numbers back. Have a nice time.
