I would go crazy with happiness if ever I get a chance to travel to space. I always wonder what it would be like to be in total space, seeing the stars and planets, the milky way etc. with my own eyes. I know it could be even dangerous, but then, Id definitely take the risk . The pure silence of nature, the feeling of being small in front of the beauty of nature and Gods creation leaves me dumbfounded. I would any day prefer to go to space than travel the world. What about you?

Oh my I would probably have the same feeling as you would have. Being able to go to outer space is just amazing! Just imagine seeing the planets with your naked eye. It would be a very overwhelming experience.

Yuna, maybe we could make it together and hold hands when we are scared haha. It would be lovely to travel with someone who would enjoy the trip as much as I do. Who knows, but in the near future, eh ?

I don't see why not? It's not impossible to happen in the future and we can always dream about during the present Haha!

I would love to travel to space! And I will admit that at least one night a week I have a dream about going to the moon and sometimes about going to other planets. I know a former NASA shuttle commander, and every time I see her all I want to do is listen to her stories about going to ISS. Just the thought of the cosmos stretching out in every direction to infinity is mind-boggling in an absolutely fantastic way!

Yes, the very thought of going to space is mind boggling. You are lucky to have a friend who worked in NASA and can give you first hand info on space travel. You have the bug worst than me. I at least dont dream of going to space once a week, lol. Lets keep our fingers crossed. Maybe very soon.

My son has your same amibition, dream in life. He reads a lot about space and asks me a lot of questions which I am unable to answer. I would not be surprised that space tourism would be a reality in the near future. © ronaldinu 2008

I believe he is still small, so it must be very exciting to know about space travel and want to go there. But definitely keep his interest up, for who knows we may have another astronaut in your son who will bring laurels to your name. Cheers.

i think i would be horribly terrified, but i would certainly welcome the challenge and experience... it would be totally awesome to see our beautiful big-blue-marble from space... but it would even be a better experience if the whole family - all seven (7)of us, could go on the journey together...

I suppose to fit in all seven, we would have to make certain allowances in the size of the spaceship, haha. Yes, it would just be an awsome experience and I look forward to that day when somebody will tell me, up you go and experience nature at its best. Thanks.

Truth be told i'm not too excited about going to space cause i imagine it would be uncomfortable. Although it'll be way cool to see things you've never imagined. Well, if i have the chance i'll probably go once.

If we had to sit 36 hours non stop in a plane, we would be equally uncomfortable. But we still go, so im sure if given a chance, youd be the first to jump the queue. Welcome to the club.
