Where I grew up it snowed in the winter and it was good fun to go sledging and make snowmen. However I broke my arm and then slipped over hurting my other arm in the slippery snow. One year as late as March my county got very deep snow and I had to stay off work for two days. My boss was furious because all the other employees slept in the office. I couldn't get there because all the buses ceased service.
One winter I traveled to Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. It was so snowy and the landscape was like a picture postcard. I loved seeing the snowflakes falling and the scene in Salzburg was magical looking. I went on a Sound of Music tour and walked across the lake because it was frozen. I visited some of the fairy tale like castles in Germany. The snow made the scene incredibly pretty.

I like snow, I just don't like driving in it... You know what's even worse to drive in? Ice... I like winter for some reasons & I don't like winter for other reasons... I like the winter for the weather, believe it or not... I like the coldness & freshness of the air, especailly beach & the mountain area in winter... I don't like the stuffiness of the beach air during summer heat... But at the same time, because it's so cold out, anytime the road freezes up, I hate driving on it... I like watching snow fall, even playing in it but when all that snow gets packed in to the ground from people walking on it & cars driving on it, it gets slipperier, becomes hard frozen snow, instead of soft fluffy kind... I don't like that...
