I used to work in a graveyard shift for one year and that includes Christmas and new years Eve and we are not allowed to avail our vacation leave, though it's fun inside the office because I have so many office mates but if I have choice I want to spend it my house with my family, how about you if you are going to spend it in the office what would you feel?

I am a licensed medical technologist. And since working in a graveyard shift and without holidays didn't appeal to me, I shied away from applying jobs in hospitals. I worked in one hospital which was a stone's throw away from our house. I was on-call during Christmas and New Year's. I was able to spend some time with my family but I still felt bad when it was time to leave because a patient was waiting.

I would hate to work on christmas and new years. Since I want to be with my family and we cant do our yearly tradition of opening presants. And new years well I wouldnt want to work because I would be to tired to work since I usally stay up late. But luckly for my job its volunteer on those days so I dont volunteer to work on christmas or new years eve.
