Should older people live with their adult children?

Some people think that adult children love independence and freedom, but their parents may still take them as children. The situation will be worse when the adult children are married.People of different ages have different ways of life.If they live together, the old may feel that they are always disturbed and the young may feel that they are often restricted.
But I don't think so,it is our obligation to attend our parents. We can give them more love if we live together.
What do think about it ?

Hello simon611! I do agree with you. I think it's only fair that we will take care of our parents when they become old. My parents are still young right now but I will let them live with me especially if the time come that they will be very weak. Our parents are doing everything, took care of us when we are a child and giving us good life. What kind of daughter/son are we if we just let other people to take care our parents?

I also think so. One can realise the position if one thinks oneself in a reverse role that is in our old age should we expect to be deserted by our children even after taking care for them and sacrificing our all life for them? However parents also have to be sensible and realise the changes in the roles brought about by their adulthood and marriage.
