Gosh, i just came back from a bowling game with some of my Dad's friends. My score for the first game was only around 40+ points!!
The thing is, i've been bowling occasionally and sometimes, my points will be over a hundred and sometimes i just happen to lose that 'touch'. What is happening?!!
What are your experiences and do you know of any sites that teaches you how to bowl the right way?? (Curve the ball)

Usually when I bowl my first game is not that good. I would barely score a hundred. But after i'm warmed up and on my second game, i do fairly decent. I reach about two hundred. I don't know of any sites that would help. good luck and keep practicing.

My scores also used to vary drastically but now I have a more consistent shot and can shoot around 150 most of the time (though not much higher than 170 usually, high game only 244). The key is practice. If you become consistent your scores will even out more. You can ask a local pro shop operator to give you a few pointers on how to apply some revs to a hook ball (and then he can even recommend you a ball and drilling configuration). There're also videos online demonstrating it, but I think nothing beats having someone personally see you bowl.
