Even though I can't afford it I love to help!

I was reading an email from freecycle yesterday, and the woman was asking for Christmas presents for her children since times are tough and she can not afford it. I offered her a few things that I have laying around, not brand new things but Excellent condition things. I am wrapping them and putting a tag from "Santa". The person is very appreciative and it makes me feel very good inside. Times are tough for everyone and I can't do for my family what I have before for Christmas but I was fortunate to buy my son Christmas presents months ago during a clearance sale. All children deserve a gift from "Santa", they won't understand that Santa didn't come because they are poor they will think they were bad and Santa thought they didn't deserve a gift. Even though Christmas is not about Gifts, it feels really good to give. Do you help the less fortunate even if you really can't afford it?
