Baby, It's COLD Outside!

Right now, my outside thermometer is reading 8 degrees. We've got a NW wind, so it actually FEELS like it's below 0 degrees. Those are degrees in Fahrenheit, so it's COLD outside!! What do you do when it's this cold? I'm staying in where it's warm and cooking up a nice pot of chicken and dumplings for dinner!

If it gets too cold, I move! I lived in Virginaia and North Carolina for a while and the snow is not my friend. I am happily residing in sunnier climes now. Some nights it still does get a little chilly, so I make myself a nice warm cup of hot marshmallows and curl up with a good book.

I keep my butt in the house as much as possible when it is that cold outside. It is supposed to get into the low 50's here today, so it would be a decent day to get out of the house, but I am stranded with no car till my mother gets hers fixed. 
Chicken and Dumplings sounds good.

When it is cold I snuggle up with my teddy bear, in like five homemade knitted quilts and fall asleep for the winter :)
