Well, just last Saturday night we had our Christmas dinner in our church. Hmmmm too early for the Christmas haha but it was fun. We have our Christmas program and dinner with friends and other visitors. Others are asking why too early well, some people will be traveling to other states for Chrismas so we have no time to be together as a church family and friends so we did it earlier. What about you? will you wait until Dec. 25 to have Christmas dinner with friends? Just curious to hear your story.

this reminds me of something and i smiled when i read the title of your post. i made a lot of friends way back in college, we were all seven as we graduate most of them worked outside the city and other went out of the country. that leaves me and my two other single friends in the city where we all lived in. it has always been a tradition of us 3 to have a Christmas dinner together, usually happens 2 to 3 days before Christmas. What is so funny is that we call it as "Christmas Party sang mga Laon" or "Spinster Christmas Party". LOL. we will be having it again this year though we haven't talked when it is exactly. I am really looking forward to it, this maybe the last time that we will be calling this get together with that name since i will get marry next year. LOL.

Oh that is cute!!! it reminds me of our family gathering during Christmas. I miss that day. I have been away from my family for 3 Christmas celebration already. I am just imagining that they are all together, my brother and his family and my sister and her family together with my parents. They will have get together in my parent's house. I am the only one living far away so, I can't be there for the 3rd time. How i wish I can just come in a day... hehehehe

My friends and I will be having a (post-Christmas) dinner party after the 25th - been doing that for the past two years and this year will be the third time. It's turning out to be a tradition which is good since most of our friends have left the country and haven't had time (nor the money -- so they say! LOL) to come back here for the holidays. I can't wait to see them! :D

Usually christmas Eve and day is spent with family. I think Bernie's family dinner in michigan is December 27th. I don't know if or when we will celebrate with friends as our thanksgiving dinner with friends got ruined by Bernie's jerk of a brother in law.
My cousin is having a friend and family party on December 19th, i dont really get along with that cousin so i am still undecided if i am looking forward to that party or not.

I will be having a party after Christmas for my friends. I just had my big family Christmas with my sisters, brother and nephew and neices last Sat. night..and I am getting company over the holidays that are staying a week so I have tons of stuff to do in preparation for them...then they will be here so it's too much to have a dinner for friends. So come January....we'll be having our Christmas.

Hello Bebs. I am so glad that you enjoyed yourself so much for the Christmas dinner with your friends. I think that it is a good idea to have this special dinner earlier as friends will scatter at a different place on that day. This way all are present. Well, I guess that we will be organized to have a Christmas dinner as well by my school boss together with those foreign teachers at our school's nice and grand hotel. I am looking forward to it with keen interest. Merry Christmas to you, Bebs.

Me and my friends will have our Christmas dinner or Christmas party I should next week December 19. Well have it in our favorite hangout place. It is like a small restaurant where you can buy drinks. I'm excited with it and sure to have fun and have discounts too as we are known in that place. We make friends to the owner and staff. They say that we are there regular customers. I'm looking forward to it as it would be our last get together this year and don't know when will be the next as everyone is busy with work and school.
Advance Merry CHRISTmas!!!

Hi bebs, well it is good that you all think about each other. Well the genius behind should be congratulated because I know that here in my country they would go along with the december 25 date. If I was active in church then maybe I would have done what you do. It is always good to consider others.

Indeed your Christmas dinner has been too early! Anyway, for as long as the Christmas spirit is there, the date does not really matter. And obviously you seemed to have really enjoyed the fun.
In our Church, we have set to do it on December 21. As always if will definitely be a very joyful event again. My son who is always the host of the party is now preparing the program and preparing games which everyone will truly enjoy. Of course there will be exchange gifts and raffles. The food will flood again as each family will bring shares for the Potluck. I'm already so excited! We don't do our Church Christmas party on the very day of Christmas. December 25 is set as a date exclusively for individual family celebration.

Hi my friend, wow I can truly imagine your happy faces on that day. I tell you what? Christmas celebration in America is very different from what we have in our country.
Their program is very simple. They are not having games and exchange gifts. They only have short presentation about the birth of Jesus then music and eating that's all. That is in our church. I don't know in other places what they do. But am sure they have very simple program and lasted only for 2 hours unlike what we usually have, we will go up to midnight... hahaha..
