To me love is when you have found that special someone who there is not one day that goes by you have not thought of. Someone when you talk about them or when someone else tals about them a smile comes on your face. A person you can count on to always be there. Who talks and actually listens to you. When you are down they lift you up. A person you are willing to spend the rest of your life with and cant wait for that special day to come. Love to me is when that special friend comes along and just sweeps your feet out from under you.

Love conquers everything. No matter how hard as steel is a man, only love can soften his heart. No matter what the time, the place, the situation love will have it's own way. Love means you never have to say you are sorry because you have been forgiven even before you ask for it. Without love we are not here, we are born because of love. Love means you are willing to sacrifice yourself for the benefit of the other like what God did to us. Love is blind. In some instances, we find true love in a wrong time and a wrong person. But either you remain in that situation or let go of it , you have experienced love. Love is all that matters. Whatever relationship you are into it wouldn't work out well if there's no love. Every second counts, with every heart beat, love is a feeling of grand. A grandest feeling actually! It is the most important thing that God has given us. So keep loving Kysweetgal!

The word love is more to me a feeling than just a word. Some people try to describe it but it is a hard one to explain sometimes.
I feel that genuine or real love comes from the heart and true love is unconditional. It is all accepting of everything and truly forgives any wrong doing.
Some people may not take the word love too seriously or they just think they know what it is and it turns out to be just a fleeting case of lust or infatuation.
I believe that what you say also makes sense when it comes to the fact that you would be willing to spend the rest of your life with someone and wouldn't want to be without them.
Sweeping someone off their feet is a wonderful way to feel however I don't mean to take away from that type of moment but that it kind of where being in love comes in. You can be head over heels for someone and that feeling might not last forever. You may love that person forever but not have the highest heights felt anymore.
Real enduring love goes through pain, challenges, struggles, betrayals and forgives and never holds grudges.

The man I am with now has not done anything wrong to me. He helps me out with everything. From cooking, to cleaning, to helping take care of the kids. When I'm sick he cooks for me and brings it to bed for me. He has showed me that there is more in a person than what I use to think. Every relationship I had been in berfore were cheaters. My first marriage ended cause he wouldn't stay faithful and was abusive. He tried to change but his drinking got the best of him. The man I am engaged to be married to. Stays home with the kids most of the time. While I am babysitting for my sister. He has always been there when I needed a friend to tlak to. Someone to comfort me when I am sad. Who knows you might be right, but I don't think so. My opinions is so totally different than yours. But thanks for letting me know how you feel.

I have read your comment and after I read what you had to say about my response about love I had to think a minute. I want to make myself clear about what I think about love.
I do believe that love can endure many trials but I don't mean it should tolerate any physical pain or abuse. That might have been construed wrong. If you are hurt emotionally or worse yet physically then it is good that you find someone to treat you right.

Love is not just a word. It is a feeling. It has to be experienced to knwo what it is. only a man or a woman who have fallen in love can explain the feeling. The joy of being alive, the joy in small things, the happy thoughts, the feeling of being on top of the world. Seeing brightness and gaiety in all that you see.

I am thinking someone who truly cares about you and wouldn’t do anything to hurt you. Someone who will try to give you the best of themselves, even sacrifice, to make you happy. Someone you can rely on to bring out the best in you. Someone who looks beyond your flaws to see the best in you.. Someone who is loyal all the time , in good and bad times. Someone who will forgive you of your error seventy times seven and wont bring it up every time. Someone who will stand beside you and claim you as their own in the dark as well as light .Someone who is not embarrassed by you even when you have embarrassed yourself.

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away." - 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8

yeah the word love is hard to describe, cuz there is so many levels to love, there is the love u have for your parents/friends/family, but then there is the love u have for that special someone in your life u wanna be with forever, but if your gonna look for a general description for love, id say its a feelin u have for anyone u really care for and would do anything for, someone u would never turn your back on or decieve, its the feeling u have that in the end, u have no control over, its such a natural thing..

Love to me is my husband. he can make me feel happy and sad at the same time. sometimes i want to tear him to bits and at the same time i know i cant imagine my life without him. i remember my life only after he came in. I dont understand how all the relations took second place after I got into relationship with him, I think that is love. when everything takes a second place.
