I am interested in knowing more about these wonderful people on mylot... So lets try this... respond to this telling me your first name if you want... where you are from... and an interesting attraction in your area.... I am interested to hear about the places that we all come from...
I'll start:
My first name is Holly, but I go by Thumper! I am from Stearns Kentucky. There is an old deserted mining town in my hometown and a museum and a train ride that takes you down to the mining town as a tourist attraction. It is really neat...... i am manuel the third. i am from the philippines. i am from marikina and it is the cleaniest city in the metro. our city is called little singapore. years and years ago we have a river that is so poluted but our very good mayor did a program to clean it. now he is no longer the mayor but his wife is the mayor. they both made it sure that the city is clean. here is the link incase you wantto look around http://www.marikina.gov.ph/

Thanks for the response..... I hate pollution. I tried to get my county cleaned up, but I didn't have enough help.... Some people still help though. Some clean up litter along the road, others recycle on their own......Still yet others don't do anything aside from helping the garbage pile up.

Hi I am Sue, and live in the Algarve Portugal. Its a beautiful place to live, wonderful golden clean beaches and it is well respected by almost all of the tourists, the locals are very good at recycling, and we have regular collections every few days..we also have a lot of solar panels and wind generaters for our electricity...so all trying to get a good carbon footprint.

HI I am Siddarth Ponnala. I live in Chicago, IL..I go by sid..one of the most known attraction is the sears tower.. but there is an awsome shopping district too called the magnificent mile in Downtown Chicago..In the summer, there are good beaches..and a nice place to be...If you get a chance visit chicago...Thumper I actually used to live in Paintsville, Kentucky..
