Hello all!
It is not a surprise that the entire Philippines is probably glued to the television set during the fights of Filipino boxing champ Manny Pacquiao. But since the latest Dream Match against Oscar dela Hoya last December 6, 2008 was his biggest so far, it cannot be denied that his countrymen are waiting for him and even praying for him to make thse big moves against his nemesis on the ring.
And the proof to this undying support and following to Pacquiao, the police departments reported that they had zero crime rates during the period that Pacquiao and dela Hoya were fighting. Police said that nobody reported anything to them during those times, and considering that this is December, a month when the crime rates increase. Only one case was reported in Quezon City, Philippines, where two people had a fight, but it was also about Manny's boxing match. I guess even the criminals are fans of Manny.
Some people also allowed their bus trips to be delayed a few hours until after Manny's fight. Other drivers went parking for several hours just to watch the historical fight. And with that, the day of the fight recorded the lowest traffic in major cities.
Well, truly Manny Pacquiao is one true living Filipino hero. Even criminals stop their trade just to watch him fight.
Good day all and God bless you !
Merry Christmas!

That's for sure but I have no doubt that people would riot if Manny lost in one of those fights. Lol! Every Filipino supports Manny so when he fights, all are focused on watching him. People stop their work just to see him fight.
During Pacquiao-delaHOya fight, our new refrredigirator was supposed to be delivered to us. But the sales agent called us that the item could not be delivered on that day because she said the delivery truck was out of order.I doubted it, I knew that the real reason is that their staff are not available because they are busy watching Pacquiao's fight.
That's what a true HERO can do... bring peace to his people.
