I would have to say the weirdest way I met a boyfriend was when I was working as a local telemarketer. I called local homes selling coupon books. I called this home, gave my long speech about why he should by one of the books and then afterwards I asked if he was interested. He said, "No, I'm not interested in purchasing a book, but I am interested in you." I was really shy back then and didn't really know what to say. We ended up exchanging phone numbers and we dated for a couple months. It never developed into anything really serious but I've often thought of how that was one of the weirdest ways to meet a boyfriend. Have you met a boyfriend or a girlfriend in a weird way?

I met my boyfriend on a telephone chatline. We have been together now going on 4 years in January. I know alot of people my think that is a crazy way to meet someone but I gave it a try and it worked out for me.

Well I literally had one trip and fall into my lap once in Savannah, Georgia. I was sitting on a bench on River Street. I was in Savannah on business, and was on River Street just hanging out, because I had found out that I was going to have to spend the night in Savannah. This lady was walking by and caught her shoe on a brick somehow, and tripped. She literally fell in my lap on the bench where I was sitting. I managed to catch her and keep her from rolling off on the ground. She was obviously embarrassed, and apologized repeatedly. After assuring her that no harm had been done, and making sure she was OK, she and I started talking. During our conversation, I asked her if she would like to have a drink with me. She accepted my invitation, and we ended up going to dinner together that night as well. We hit it off pretty well, and would probably have spent the entire night hanging out on River Street or somewhere else, but she had to go to work that night at 11 P.M. We exchanged phone numbers, and she departed that night in time to make it in for her shift, but we made plans to have dinner together the following night. I met her again for dinner that night, and we ended up spending the night together that night. I had to leave town early the next morning, but I only lived about an hour from Savannah, and I traveled there often for business and pleasure as well anyway, so this lady and I ended up dating for several months. I am almost sad to say that things didn't work out between us, because we really had a good relationship, but I guess some things just are not meant to be...
