I had to lower my skill level to get my badge this week.

Normally, I like to have my challenges in pogo.com done by Friday just so I don't have to worry about them any more. When I'm playing for the badge, I usually leave my skill level the same - it's usually on the hardest for most games. But, this time for the Spider Solitaire, I had to put it down to easy just to get the badge over with since I wont be home tomorrow to finish it up. I've been playing all week and have only finished the hand once or twice, and only got 2 in a row 1 time. As soon as I put it down to easy level I got the first 3 games in a row. Do you try not to go the easy route when you're working on your badges?

I just recently realized i could change the skill levels. So I have been changing it to easy to get the badges so I can get back to my work and baby faster. But i may not do that anymore cause now when i get my free time i find im bored with no gaol to acheive on pogo lol.

Oh minnie, there is always a goal on pogo, you can work towards getting all 50 (or however many for a certain game) ranks. I am working on my turbo 21 game right now to reach rank 50, it is slow now since it takes more to reach a rank but I will get there, I am at rank 31 or 32 now, not sure which.

I play almost everything on the hardest rank. I find I get bored on the easier ranks most of the time. I like the challenge :)

For me, it depends on the game. I usually only play Spider for badges. I always play on easy, unless the rules specifically say you have to play at a higher skill level. Got to watch out for that one. On some games, like Majong Safari or Phlinx I am pretty good at the games, so I play them at my usual levels.

Yup, there's nothing worse than working on a badge and then you realize you aren't getting anywhere because you have to play on a different level. Most of the time I see that with the card games, you have to play Jungle Gin at a 700 game or something like that...

I usually play on medium level, Spider was set on easy and had it in no time, like 10-15 minutes.I usually space my badges out a few days cause I lkie working on the badges, but I notice some like to do them all the first day.Now on Stellar Sweeper I switch with easy and medium, this ones a little hard.

I like to do them quickly so that I'm not up until 2am Tuesday night trying to finish a badge up :)

I guess you can call me a wimp. Unless it calls for a certain skill level I do mine on easy. I was dreading having to get three wins in a row but I did get my first three and it was over quickly, thank goodness. I had both badges done on Wed. and then played rated spades, had to win 3-250 games (I think that was how many)and I found some other people who were doing the same personal challenge and we worked together and got that out of the way also. I had all mine done by Wed. before 4pm and I figured I would be at it for a few days. hahaha

Most of the time I play on the hardest level because I get bored on the lower levels. I try to keep it at hard for my badges, but I was pretty sure I wouldn't be able to get the badge that way this week - and I was right... But, I'm back to the hard level again. Also, for getting the ranks, for some of the badges - I don't know how many - you have to do less to get a rank on the higher level. I think it takes about the same time, because on the lower levels you get more quicker so you have to do more for the rank.

I'm the same way. It was on medium but after a few games, I decided to switch to easy. You don't climb ranks as fast but I had my badge for this week done in no time. Usually I always play a higher skill level unless it's a badge like Spider Solitaire was this week. Then I'll go to easy just to have it done. I might be doing it again with one of the next challenges. I think it's another where you have to get so many in a row. I'll have to check it out again.

Yeah, I think you're right, but I don't remebmer the badge. It might be one I do pretty good at so I wont change my rank.
