mylot code....what is it?

I was new here a year ago and left. Now am back and still consider as a new one. lol...Anyways, I responded to a discussion and I saw and noticed something on the left side part the words "mylot code". That was something new. I clicked it and found smileys on it. However, when I post my response, I was restricted to do so since I have not reached 200 posts yet. It seems, I have missed some things in mylot. Whew!
