Cheap Therapy

I've always considered shopping to be therapeutic. A real "mood-uplifter". Now, that I'm a mom and budget is tight, I seldom shop for myself. Nonetheless, even if I do it for other people--my kids, particularly, it still makes me feel better. Even a simple grocery shopping does the trick for me:) I don't know.. maybe it's the feeling that you have the "power" to acquire something.

I know what you mean. I always have fun buying things for other people. What I do is I turn shopping into a game. I am a very frugal person so I see how much money I can save using coupons and discounts I get in the mail or online. If you would like some coupons I have a list of retail ones on my blog. the link is on my profile. I havent bought a single christmas present this year without a coupon, unless it was on sale for a really cheap price.
