love marriage/arranged marriage

i prefer arranger marriage.because so many arranged marriages are successful than love marriages.their lives are peaceful.even so many people now a days prefer arranged marriages.

It's all depends on their wish. if a person wants arrange marriege then he can go in that way. If a person want love marriage then he can go in that way. For me it's better to go for love marriage then we can understand each other first.

A marriage will succeed only the pair has patience,tolerence.Sacrifing mentality, understnding each other,admitting facts and realities, co-operating with each other are some of the basic charecters which helps for the happiness in family. Can any one can guarantee the above factors in Love or arranged marriage?

Even if it is very likely that it will end in divorce i prefer love marriages. Arranged marriages lasts because as the couple got married because of their culture, it is also against their culture to get divorced. So they will stay in the loveless marriage.

You are right when you said arranged marriages last longer as its the family who decides the marriage mates. So even if they do not like each other the family won't allow them for a divorce, but people who fall in love and then marry divorce faster as the family doesn't care about them. But to tell the truth arranged marriage isn't good as a person might bot like his wife or husband and might regret later than he or she married that guy without even think. Same is the case with my mom, she says that the boy who she thought was very educated turn out to be a drunkard. I won't let mt mom divorce though cause its a sin to do so. But you also have to wisely choose your mate before marrying so that you relationship never ends.
