When I was in college, I have done many kinds of part time job to earn money. I was a tutor for three kids. I tought them English, and earn money for what I want to buy. And I also did some other part time jobs. Hat kinds of part time jobs did you do? Which one did help you get what you want.

I do agree with you. But for a student, if your major is not so common in daily life, you can also try to work as a tutor, it can help you to practise your expression.

I taught english in a language school for foreign students. I have also worked as a salesperson in an ironmonger and I worked as a waiter too in a hotel. I did other odd jobs to pay for my studies and earn money.

Hello tayloryang! When I was in college, I worked as a tutor too of one child. I do it to have extra income as well as will help me develop and would allow me to have a firsthand experience in teaching.

I became a salesperson before, and worked at a cafe before too. I must say both gave me good experience to meet with new people. I learned much from it. I'd like to try working part-time in office also, though i haven't found one. Hope i can find one soon..

I never did a part time job. Because I did my college through distance learning which helped me a lot in getting a full time job. That job also helped me in getting what I wanted.
Hope to read your reply soon.
Thanks
Bye....

I worked in the school's computer labs at my first school. Then, I had to drop out. When I went back, I worked at a grocery store while I finished up with my associates.

I'm still a student and I'm a receptionist. I've been a receptionist before too before I went to college at a different place. I also was a server at a TERRIBLE restaurant called The Purple Cow --DO NOT EVER EAT THERE-- It's disgusting what they do to the food. I was a cashier at a Dollar Tree (that was horrible) and I worked at a drycleaning place called Zoots and that was okay. I liked the hours there and there was a lot of downtime, but a lot of stuck up rich old people. But being a receptionist is the best and easiest job I've had being a student. I can't to graduate college and get a career though.

I worked full time as a housekeeper at our local mall. I would probably never do it again though. Parents seem oblivious to thier kids run around and making a mess, and it got old fast having to clean up after them so they could just do it again.
