Well, if you don't have a child yet, what name will you choose for your child? Do you ever think of any name for your child or have any plan for it? Or if you are married and have sons or daughters how difficult or easy did you find to choose name for your son or daughter? Do you got any suggestion from your friends, relatives or neighbors? How many names you had in mind and how did you choose one among it? If you don't have a child yet, do you have any names beforehand?

i have a son and am now pregnant with twins. before getting pregnant, i didn't have any names in mind to call my children. for my son, i didn't have internet. i went to the library and took a baby name book out of the library. i went through the book and found names i liked. then i checked the meaning of the names. if i didn't like the meaning of the name, i crossed the name off the list. by the time i was done this process, there was only 1 name remaining. So, that's what i named my son.
Now that i'm pregnant with twins, i did the same thing as with my son's name. Except this time i have internet so i went to a site with baby names and the meanings of the names instead of looking in a book.

Am just married few months ago and don't have a child yet but am so fond of giving names to babies, mostly my neices and nephews before and even w/ my cousins' and friends children as well. I am fond of name combinations and mostly w/ hispanic touch. Some of the ones I gave were Jessa Marie, Cara Andrea, Jazzie Urzula for the girls. Paolo Alfonso, Fernando Miguel, Jose Antonio for boys.
If I shall be gifted to have a child soon I am planning to have some combinations of biblical names. I like to have Samuel Isaac for a boy and Rebekka Abigail for a girl. Both Samuel and Isaac were promised sons and were being offered to the Lord. Both Rebecca and Abigail were fine women in the bible and I find it more creative to have their combined names put together.

I have two beautiful girls. I didnt have net access when I was pregnant with my oldest. I would simply put names together in my head until I came up with what I liked. I found a male and female name that I had truly liked. With my second daughter, I did have net, but, we also looked in baby books to find names, and we ended up finding a male and female name in one of those. I still put names together, just in case I do wind up having another child.
