make a call or write an sms, which one do you go for? / myLot

i was usually , faced to this situation. i need to talk to someone, or asking something, and i'm hesitating between wrinting an sms , so it will be short and fast, or make a call, and that will be, sure , but long .... and you? generally what do you prefer for contacting people , or the way people are contacting you , a phone call, or just a texto?

i like to contact my friends by making a phone call rather than messaging but my friends like to send me messages tahn making a phone call...i am not that much patient to type a sentence so i prefer to make a call and i think that by messaging i didnt get the enough information what i want..

If and only if it is very urgent, I make a call, otherwise I just text it. But most of the times, it is texting rather than calling to my friends. To my parents I make sure I call them atleast twice in a day.

If they are actually going to text back then I'll text them but if they don't, I'll ring them instead. It helps if you have free minutes or texts as well as you can go for either one but I'd still prefer to text.
