Best Mortgages

Can anyone help me. I am due to come to the end of my 4 year fixed rate with the Halifax and I am considering moving my mortgage but it is like a minefield out there. Does anyone have any good or bad experiences or suggestions before I try to find a better mortgage deal. Any advice would be welcome.

just watch the hidden fees. If you can get a 15 year mortgage so you are not paying on it forever
