Laws to help Immigrants!

Do you guys belive that there should be some kind of law to help all immigrants living in the US? My point is that they come here for work, so many of them leave their family behind for the dream of earning big money so they can keep their family with food, clothing and shelter. I don't think that they're taking any jobs from anyone, because the jobs they do, nobody really wants them. I thinks that there should be some kind of help for the one that have been here for years. What do you guys think?
