Teen leaves work, heads home, vanishes.Brianna Maitland, 17, was last seen about 11:20 p.m. on March 19, 2004. She had just started a job as a waitress. Her car was found smashed into the side of an abandoned house. A $20,000 reward is offered. Call the Vermont State Police, 802-524-5993. Maitland left behind her contact lenses, prescription medication and two paychecks totaling $150 -- money that a 17-year-old would not have walked away from, said her mother. I would never stop looking for my child. No matter what. This case still in the news. Would you be able to keep up the pace after four year? Or would you look for some kind of closure? This is so sad. http://www.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/12/09/grace.coldcase.maitland/index.html

Mylot is a good place to place that link since it has so many member and them those member can pass it in and so on. I do hope this mother may one day find her daughter and that she be alive. I would search forever also.

Hello ersmommy. It is a social issue that needs to be solved that teens leave home without keeping the family informed. I am wondering what is wrong with the society and kids nowadays. I wish the girl to come back home to her parents to ease their mental burden.

Why are they announcing this as if it just happened. We have had kidnappings in this area and they continue to talk about it on the news until it is resolved.

I can't imagine ever being in that situation, so I can't really say how I would react. I think it would be very hard to not know what happened and want to keep searching, but I think after some time I would just want some closure.

my little sister was kidnapped by her father years ago. We got her back in less than a year. I consider my family lucky. So many people never see their kids again. I for one know that if she hadn't been found and returned to us I'd still be searching. Never stop searching!
